MBC Drama is joint venture between OSN - Orbit Showtime Network and MBC Group. It is a relatively new, 24-hour Arabic channel that offers a range of the best, uninterrupted Arabic drama and Turkish series "First on TV" exclusively to Orbit Showtime subscribers starting February 1, 2009. MBC Drama offers an impressive line-up of programs up to 3 months before any other channel. MBC+ Drama is by far the only channel amongst its sister channels at MBC Group that requires subscription. Not to be confused with MBC Drama, an alternative free-to-air channel, launched on November 27, 2010.
