From the beginning CBC TV's local programming depended on producing news for
the local viewers. After the move to the Pine two very popular programmes were
added to the schedule, Romper Room for the younger age group and Studio Party.
There were also game shows and public affairs programmes. Shows such as Bus Yuh Brain, In the Ling, Partners in Profit, Famous Barbadians, Footprints in The Sand, Time to Sing, and Treasures of Barbados set the pattern for local programming. |
